I attended a Christmas party at a college I used to go to and they’d organized for their students to perform some of the skills they have learned that year. One performance that caught my eye was a salsa routine they performed in front of us. I Instantly fell in love with the idea, and pictured myself few years time in the future being at the level they were at and maybe have the guts to perform in front of a crowd too.
"If you see something that moves you, and then snap it, you keep a moment." Linda McCartney
What I love about salsa, being partner dance, is how you share that experience with another persona and basically combine both your creativities to produce something inspiring and beautiful that not only the two of you will enjoy but others who watch you dance and thus share your experience.
I’m one of those people who like to share my experiences with others. When you dance you already share the moment with your dance partner for whatever length of time it lasts, but if you could somehow capture that moment in images or in a video you will keep that moment vivid for you to accesses any or want to share with the people in your life that weren’t there but you wish they were. By capturing the moment in pictures or in a video those moments are immortalized; and that’s what motivates me the most.
